Any upgrade to the sway bars are nearly lost if you chose to reuse the OEM unit endlinks. This connection between the sway bar and the control arm is crucial to proper operation. Some Subaru models even have plastic (yes plastic) to make this connection. PERRIN™ replaces any and all with 6061 billet aluminum and spherical bearings. Constantly improving our design, PERRIN Performance™ has developed a new polyurethane cushion, which locks the spherical bearing upright maintaining end link alignment. PERRIN™ end links solidly bolt the sway bar to the control arms. Loads are instantly transferred through the non-compliant spherical bearings increasing the "feel" when driving. PERRIN Performance™ end links are precision cut from virgin aluminum ensuring strength, durability, and crisp sway bar response providing maximum performance and feel from your rear sway bar. PTFE Teflon lined spherical bearings are pressed in to each end and held in place by a specific press technique developed by our research and development staff. During the installation the walls of the bearing-retaining surface are compressed onto the bearing in a double "swedge" technique making it impossible for the bearing to be removed once installed. Our spherical bearings are made from fiber reinforced, engineered plastic. With a static radial load resistance of over 5,000 lbs these bearings are virtually indestructible. An inner Teflon lining dampens against noise and vibration as well as keep dirt or road grime out of the bearing race. Our choice to use spherical bearings allows PERRIN™ end links to conform to dramatic angles while maintaining a solid link between the sway bar and control arm. Total misalignment angles can exceed 14 degrees. Do not be fooled by other products, which offer spherical bearing end links.
