PERRIN Performance™ end links feature PTFE Teflon lined spherical bearings. Teflon linings dampen against noise and vibration as well as keep dirt or road grime out of the bearing race. Our spherical bearings are made from 5200 series heat-treated, chrome plated steel. With a static radial load resistance to 13,250 lbs these bearings are virtually indestructible.Our choice to use spherical bearings allows PERRIN™ end links to conform to dramatic angles while maintaining a solid link between the sway bar and control arm. Our research and development staff has developed a specific press technique for this bearing application that makes it impossible for the bearing to be removed once installed. The walls of the bearing-retaining surface are compressed onto the bearing in a double "swedge" technique. Do not be fooled by other products, which offer spherical bearing end links.
